Visiting Guides
Arctic Heli Skiing offers certified mountain guides with previous heli ski guiding experience the opportunity to bring groups.
Guidelines:
- Guide must have previous heli ski guiding experience
- Guide must be certified (UIAGM or AMGA / ACMG full ski guide)
- Bring complete groups of 4, 8, 12 or 16 guests
In return for the above Arctic Heli Skiing offers the following commissions for seats (*commission is subject to change if seats are offered at a discount):
- 10% off complete groups of 4, 8, 12 or 16 skiers on the Classic or Premium Programs as long as the guide deals with all communications and payments with his/her guests
- 5% off complete groups if AHS has to deal with communications with guests and payments directly
- 5% referral fee per guest if guide brings guests and skis along as a paid guest
In addition to the commission stated above AHS will pay a salary to visiting guides.
Private Programs:
As we require visiting guides to follow an AHS lead guide it is not possible for visiting guides to guide their own groups on Private or Ultimate Private programs. Our Ring of Fire program is intended for 3 guests and uses 2 guides so it is possible to assist an AHS guide on the Ring of Fire program.
If a visiting guide would like to accompany a group on a Private program then they must be included in the group of 4, the guide can then work with the AHS guide to lead the group.
Payments:
- If you will be collecting all payments from the guests we will issue you an invoice for the full amount of the trip less the commission amount.
- If Arctic Heli Skiing handles the payments then we will let you know when all payments have been received and you can then issue an invoice to Bergmenn ehf. for the commission amount.
Guest Information:
Please provide us with a guest list which includes the guests full name.
