What´s happening on the troll peninsula

First of all a very happy new heliski year to all our friends the world over. To celebrate the coming of a new season of Arctic Heliskiing in Iceland and due to our success in the last few seasons of operating heliski tours in Iceland, we have decided to offer one of our fortunate Facebook friends a free heli skiing trip worth €7.000.- this coming ski season

Everyone knows easyJet as one of the biggest airlines in Europe with over a 130 destinations, but not many people know that you can ''easily'' get to your heliski destination in Iceland with direct easyJet flights from London, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester and now even Basel in Switzerland. Its never been as ''Easy'' to join us for some awesome adventure heliskiing in Iceland before.

In March 2013 we had the great pleasure of hosting Warren Miller Entertainment in Iceland as they shot a segment for their new film, Ticket to Ride. The skiers that joined for this heliski adventure were no others than Olympic gold medalist Julia Mancuso, World Champion freeskier Jess McMillan and Sierra Quitiquit who had nothing but good things to say about heliskiing in Iceland.

It is with great pleasure and pride that Arctic Heli Skiing announces the fact that this coming season we will be in cooperation with one of the best ski makers in business these days, Völkl. Along with Marker bindings Völkl skis will be the mainstay of our ski fleet for the 2014 season and our guests will have full access to Iceland's only Völkl ski test center.

Every year we at Arctic Heli Skiing Iceland go and visit our good friends on both sides of the Atlantic. This year we have already toured the eastern seaboard where we visited friends and did presentations in Vermont and NYC. Thanks to our good friends and long time guests we were able to host some great little events where both old and new friends got to hear the good word about heliskiing in Iceland right from the horses mouth.

Today we had the pleasure of raising the walls of our two new heli skiing guest cabins. These traditional Icelandic wood structures each house two luxurious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and will double our deluxe rooms to a total of 8 rooms or 16 beds.
